The Founder's Story

A journey rooted in loss, driven by love

Vijaya Bali is the founder and guiding force behind Vijayalaxmi Education and Social Welfare Society. Her journey is rooted in personal loss, deep compassion, and an unshakeable belief that social change begins with caring for those left behind.

She lost her father at a young age, and later her mother. These experiences led her to deeply understand the pain faced by abandoned and lonely elderly people, and the struggles of children without family support.

Her personal grief became fuel for action. She began by supporting children's education and community welfare. What started as a small effort grew into a comprehensive social welfare organisation serving thousands across Vijaypur district.

"No elderly person should experience loneliness and helplessness without care and support."

This belief β€” born from her own experience of loss β€” led her to establish the Rally Nivedita Old Age Home in 2013, ensuring that senior citizens in Vijaypur have a safe, dignified, and caring home.

"Social service is not only about helping people today; it is about creating opportunities that can transform their tomorrow. Every small effort towards education, empowerment, and care can bring meaningful change in society."
